Biography
Her hair is a baby blue that fades to a sea foam green,with her coat color a bluish purple. Her eyes are a light magenta, and her cutiemark is a feather pen with a compass and a paintbrush.
When she was a young filly, her mother passed away and her father never told her how. She was too young to remember, but she speculated her mother died in a hospital or by falling off a cloud without catching herself. Her mother was a light blue Pegasus, as shown by the portrait in the living room. Her father was a hardworking unicorn stallion with a royal dark blue coat color. He left the house to work, leaving the eldest of three siblings in charge. Moonlight was the youngest and the only unicorn of the siblings, the eldest was a colt pegasus and the middle a filly. They all live in a small house, just big enough for the whole family but with a big backyard and shed. The two elder siblings always played with one another and raced, while Moon watched them while studying and taking frequent notes.
She received her cutiemark in her fathers work shed in the backyard. She had the idea for an invention, got to work and jotted down notes while experimenting. She made a pretty interesting kite, and her father was interested in her invention though not as much as the picture on her flank. Moon was always the odd one out. Growing up, she became more creative and often went into her father's old work shed that she gave to her after receiving her cutiemark, failing more times then succeeding. In school, the teacher always thought there was something off about her, since she stared off in the middle of class and took down notes when doing an hooves on project outside. Her teacher never found potential in her.
Moon thought school was holding her back, and since she had learned all she needed she dropped. She pursued more knowledge by frequently going to the library on her own. The librarian saw her thirst for knowledge and recommended the SSSfGU. Moon was reluctant at first but found out they teach more than what her school taught, and that in itself convinced her. She spoke with her father and he supported her fully, and he helped her apply the first time. Now she wants to come back because of her hunger for knowledge.
Additional Information
- She is somewhat an out-there pony always wide eyed and studying everything. She is not one who talks much, though she writes down and sketches everything she thinks about in a journal she always has by her side. Talking with her is interesting because you always feel like you're bothering her as she very well might jot something down while still talking. She doesn't take care of her hair because she feels doing so takes to much thought process and only ties it up when doing work. When she has her mind set she'll keep at it till it's done in one way or another. She likes inventing things even though they almost all fail.
-She has a flying genet (male) named Skye that can only communicate through clicks and whistles, and can fly 500 meters maximum. She's around two years old, but is still aloof and adventurous.
Abilities
Charms- She's able to glide from heights, create a miniature version of herself to guard her objects, write a letter with her voice or thoughts and have the letter speak to the reader, create a flying letter that seeks the recipient, creating a picture memory in crystal, glass or a pony, all using the spells Calmly Curious taught in his Charms class.
Creature Calming- She can calm down small creatures from experience of her siblings messing with them over the years.
Basic Magic- She can levitate objects, and light small sparks for matches.
Invention- She's good at building useful or sometimes impractical things in her free time.
Art- She has an ability in the art field, and it calms her down when she's stressed. She uses it a lot when sketching down ideas for inventions.
Transfiguration- She can transfigure her clothing and other small objects, and change the color of her clothing and hair as from Raspberry Ribbon's class.
