Biography
Nyx grew up in a middle class family, her parents both working in an architectural business. Her parents would spend every penny they could spare on her, jumping at the chance to buy her telescopes and all the astronomy themed books they could manage as soon as she had shown any interest in the stars. She soon earned her cutiemark in this field, which only sparked her parents to give her even more. By the time she was 15 her parents built her, her own tree house which doubled as an observatory.
Nyx worked in a library reading stories to young children, though often gets sidetracked about teaching them information about the stars. After seeing the open spot available at Starswirl's, she was quick to jump on the opportunity to share her love with even more ponies.
