Biography
A deer of very little words and even fewer convictions, Wyatt Eisold is a stag who knows how to get a job done. Unfortunately, teaching History is not the job he signed up for.
Wyatt speaks little of his fawnhood or his past overall, but from what he offers one can surmise that he's spent most of his time taking odd (and sometimes questionable) jobs just to scrape by. The thing he seemed to do best at was hunting and foraging, finding that not only did it come naturally to him, but that of all the honest jobs he'd taken this was by far the most profitable. Wyatt would collect potion ingredients and sell them to local apothecaries, on occasion sticking behind to try and see what these ponies actually wanted with such exotic ingredients anyway. He became fascinated with potions and decided to pursue it on his own, learning through some past experience, experimentation, and taking short apprenticeships and he wandered throughout Equestria. While doing so, he continued to hunt magical creatures and collect ingredients for his own potions and to sell for additional funds.
As of late, money's been tight as Wyatt is no longer just supporting himself but is now looking to be able to finally settle down and find a permanent home with his partner, Whitaker. Whitaker pushed him into seeking a 'normal' job where he could put his potions skills to use, and so he applied to SSSfGU. He didn't receive the position.
When the History of Magic hire, Parnassus, failed to appear, Thanatos contacted Wyatt asking if he held any certification in History of Magic. Wyatt lied.
Currently, Wyatt is attempting to figure out how he's going to teach a class he has absolutely no knowledge on, as well as if it's a good idea to let Whitaker keep thinking he's gotten the potions position.
Additional Information
-He's fairly adept in ice magic, it being one of the few things he inherited from his father.
-Wyatt is illiterate. He only knows how to sign his name. He generally had Whittaker or a neighboring friend Mrs. Mullhall read to him.
-While he isn't particularly "humane" in the way he harvests potion ingredients, he does have an affinity for animals. He particularly likes keeping wild animals as free roaming pets. As coyotes aren't very good to bring to a school, he's brought Morgan the raccoon instead.
-Morgan is probably more intelligent than Wyatt is.
-He may lie, but he's not very good at it.
