Background
Plu was originally raised in Ponyville, which was near the Castle of the Two Sisters. He'd spend his younger years pretending to be one of the guards (always dreaming of himself becoming the first griffon royal guard). Unfortunately, most guards didn't take well to his games, and would frequently shove him out of the way.
Upon getting his wing injured by a particularly aggressive guard, Plu fled into the Everfree where he encountered and befriended an Ursa Minor. It was then and there Plu discovered his love for magical creatures, and decided that he would spend his life devoted to the subject. He was hired at Starswirl's School for Gifted Unicorns, and though he frequently butted heads with some of his fellow professors, he always had a friendly and charming demeanor reserved for his students.
After Starswirl's, Plu married and had a number of children.
1863
A much older Plu visited Starswirl's as he was nearing his death. He entrusted to Virtue a package, asking that the stallion take care of it and keep it from nefarious hooves. Virtue obliged, and the two parted ways, finally having put aside their quarrels they held all those years ago. Plu returned home finally unburdened and later passed in his sleep, surrounded by the family he so loved.
Additional Info
-Despite facing discrimination in his own life, Plu did not tolerate behaviors outside of his traditional norm. Plu openly disapproved of homosexual relationships, though it did not mean he would treat students unfairly.
