Biography
Newt was born to an entirely unicorn family in 1847. His mother bred Dragons (non sapient kind obviously), leading Newt to develop a keen interest in magical creatures at a very early age. Modest and a little eccentric, Newt is more comfortable in the company of animals than people and therefore doesn't make friends all that easily. the only ponies he has a somewhat decent relationship with is his cousin Wishful Oath and her grandmother. He would be dropped off with Wishful each summer for a few weeks while his parents were on a annual business trip.
He would often disappear into the forest for hours at a time much to his grandmother's dismay, though he would come back with a few scrapes and bruises but seemingly happy. Newt had been visiting the a family of nifflers. One day, he went to show his cousin Wishful who wasn't incredibly interested. Unfortunately while they were walking they were attacked by Timber-wolves. Newt fought tooth and nail to get to the nifflers and managed to scare off the wolves by using a a light blast his mother had taught him when dragons got too close. When he found the nifflers there was only one left.. a little baby. he decided to take it and raise it as his own-this soon becomes his beloved pet Snitch.
Additional Information
- He's very hard working and nurturing towards animals. He's a bit awkward when it comes to talking with other ponies but wouldn't hurt a fly.

Abilities
Flash Bang- Newt can produce a burst of light that has the potential to stun.
Heat Resistant Shield- His barrier is able to repel fire and heat effectively
Soothing Aura- Newt can calm animals and soothe ponies to a lesser degree
Animal Affinity- Being able to recognize the signs of an upset animal, Newt can better take care of them.
