Biography
Comet is a few inches taller than the average unicorn. He has a white coat, a blue mane & tail that are both tipped in black, and silver eyes. His cutie mark is a comet circling two stars.
Comet was born on December 1st, 1844 in the city of Canterlot. For all of his life he was raised by his mother in a small cottage near the edge of the town. As he grew up the stallion quickly gained a fascination for different types of magic, and started to learn as much as he could at a young age. He quickly found that the magic that appealed to him the most was Astronomy (which is the type of magic that got him his cutie mark), and made it a goal to study further in some form of higher education when he became old enough.
After he turned 18, he immediately applied to become a student at Starswirl’s School For Gifted Unicorns, and once he got accepted for the 1863 & 1864 semesters he was undoubtedly ecstatic. Although, as he went through the semesters it was apparent that the institute has had its fair share of...dangerous circumstances. Still, Comet feels that the learning experience & the friends he made there are (hopefully) worth the risk.
Additional Information
-He is very smart, curious, and is always eager to learn new things. Especially when it comes to magic. He can often be found reading a book whenever he’s not in class or studying, and whenever he learns something new about magic he always does his best to learn everything he can about it & the different ways that he can use it.
Abilities
SSSfGU Knowledge- Due to Comet’s past two semester’s at Starswirl’s, he has gained skills in & improved upon many new areas of magic (such as charms, transfiguration, defense against the dark arts, and the study of runes to name a few). However, the one area that he is the most skilled/interested in would have to be Astronomy.
Astronomy Skills- This has always been Comet’s most favorite form of magic, and he often finds it to be the most intriguing thing to learn about. The different celestial bodies of space & how magic is connected to them always seemed to peak his interest the most, and studying this subject at Starswirl’s for the past two semesters has only strengthened his love for it. Many of the spells he learned in this class (such as the luminous spell, zodiac power spell, and sunlight disguise spell) quickly became some of his favorite spells to perform/practice both in & out of school.
Dedication- Aside from magic, Comet also has a great memory, loves to learn new things, and is a hard worker. Once he starts on something he is passionate about, he will see it through to the end. Even if he doesn’t succeed the first few times, he will always try again in different ways in order to reach his goals. This might come off as stubborn to some, however, it truly shows that his determination is strong.
