Biography
Dawn is the second youngest of her 14 other siblings. Her mother's side of the family is well known for metal working and forging of all sorts of items used for combat. This is the side of the family Dawn is drawn to and she wishes to be able to use enchantments to place on objects to aid anyone who needs them. Her father's side of the family is a family of royals who control an area untouched by the royal sisters. Her mother isn't to fond of her goal in life, but doesn't want her to prepare for a life she might not get due to how many siblings she has.
Dawn isn't one to run away from a fight but she isn't one to start one either. She is mostly a neutral party when it comes to issues standing on the sidelines taking in as much information she can before stepping in. Often at times she is the "Support pillar" of whatever friend group she comes to call her own, as well as her second oldest brother who often at times wants to go hide in the woods from the oldest sisters of the family.
She is often at times seen trying to create objects with her family's spell. Whether it be small scale weapons that could be seen as potential jewelry or small pendents made of stone gems and any material she can get her hooves on.
She first found out about the school one day while digging through a few dusty boxes that were forgotten about in her local library's closet. She found some flyers with some info, and she went about asking around and ended up deciding she wanted to attend the school. Unfortunately, due to family/personal issues she was unable to apply in the previous years and has now recovered. Moving forward with a more solid amount of courage she is apply to enter the school this time around.
Abilities
Wisp Ablaze- A small scale spell that allows for the use of fire-like wisps that float about the caster, which can be adjusted in brightness. This spell is cold to the touch, and the wisps last for around 5-80 minutes depending on the energy at hoof during the spell cast. These wisps are cosmetic, and do no physical harm. Dawn uses these as an alternative to candlelight, and this is her basic light spell.
Amplify- A spell in order to increase the volume of her voice.
Clouded Sheild- A defensive spell that allows Dawn to hide within a dome of magic that helps conceal the caster. This does not allow the caster to become invisible, with the blur of the caster remaining as well as the caster's shadow. The more energy expended, the more effective the concealment is.
Levitation- Basic unicorn levitation
Quickforge- A family spell that has been passed on within her mother's side of the family in order to craft weaponry. The longer the caster takes on the spell, the more durable and efficient the object. Dawn practices this regularly to try and please her uncle and grandfather. This spell works the best on small objects like jewels and figurines.
