Biography
She was born into a decent family, but one that wasn’t very proficient in magical abilities, making it very difficult for them to help control their child’s powers. They decided to send Epona to a unicorn camp, where she could learn to hone her magic. While she found it very easy to learn new skills, in combat, stressful or quick-time situations, she struggles to apply the new techniques she learned.
Recognizing her flaws, and strengths, (with the help and advice from her parents and Councillors) she decided to join a royal guard training school.
There she met her friend Pax, a small pegasus. The small boy was very smart and but lacked the physical capabilities of a typical guards. The two of them found that they worked very well together with each other.
Together they powered through training camp, and ended up on the same battalion. The rest of the ponies in her battalion are ponies she regards as her family. The battalion she is a part of is mainly stationed up north, between Canterlot and the territory of the former Crystal Empire.
She decided to attend Starswirl's in order to learn more magical skills as well as gain some more independence. She's a bit nervous about being on her own without her guards, but she has high hopes for the upcoming semester.
Additional Information
-Epona is a very bright and upbeat pony who sees the best in all ponies. She's also very bold and can be a bit brash at times.
Abilities
Strength- Epona is experienced in combat training, and has a lot of brawn on her side
Dull but Earnest- Her wit and knowledge is quite... lacking. She lacks common sense and is often dumbfounded with puzzles and tests. She isn’t a very good writer and struggles with wrapping her head around overly complex spells. Regardless of how long studies, it isn’t something that comes easily to her. Thinking over things too long or thinking too hard on complicated situations causes her headaches at times.
