Biography
Evan, a reserved yet highly intelligent pony indeed. Many mistake the young stallion as cold and claim him as a pony with little to no emotions, presenting him as almost detached from society and the world itself. These misconceptions are invalidated when you are bought face to face with the hard-working colt he really is.
As Evan is barely out of his youth, his temper tends to be short at times. Although he does his best to conceal the frustration he may be feeling at the given moment, the cage seems to break free, letting loose his emotions, the lock not always working to his avail. Moments like these occur unexpectedly ( example- if he has studied hard for an exam, but has received a grade which is lower than his own perceptions of himself ), which is why he gets so worked up as he has deceived his expectations. Putting his dismal times aside, he has been told by many, friends and strangers, that he is a helpful male, always willing to extend a helping hoof for the greater good. Evan has also been pursued as a fairly feminine boy, not being afraid to state his mind and being very opinionated, it being what he says is his biggest fault.
Regarding his childhood and past, he grew up with little to no interest in the concept of magic. It seemed like a foreign thing to him seen as none of his ancestors had ever partaken in the talent. But of course, for him to have the intention to actually apply for the school, he had to have obtained a very possessive interest in magic. Before gaining his indescribable fascination for magic he worked at a flower shop on the outskirts of Manehatten. It wasn't a very popular nor busy business as it was open, but it had a good run. Evan would constantly research about plants in local libraries- flowers, trees, anything you can name. Soon enough, he learnt that there was a magical side to it; and that's when his passion bloomed. As Evan already knows so much about all things nature, he plans on attending lessons that vary from just that. In all honesty, he probably won't partake in Herbolgy lessons at all, unless he feels as if he needs to sharpen his knowledge a little more.
One of the recognizable features about Evan is the bandage wrapped around his hind leg. Unfortunately, the story behind how he got injured isn't as impressive as you may have believed it to be. It all started from a run and then a jump; and then a tear in his leg and a few tears in his eyes. He had thought he'd mastered a spell, it wasn't easy but he'd thought that he was equipped to try it out. The spell was meant to make him leap far and high, but all Evan did was leap into a rock and somehow only break one or two bones in the process. It didn't stop him from his studies though. Yet still to this day, he hasn't perfected that spell.
Additional Information
-Evan has a pet- a small blue mouse with white markings in its coat.
Abilities
Herbology- As mentioned before, Evan is particularly skilled in Herbology and knows ( and has perfected ) many spells that centre around the joy that is nature.
Trivial Magic- If he had to be completely honest, he isn't what you would classify as 'experienced' in many other fields yet knows a few tips and tricks from most magical things. He's always been deeply interested in transfiguration, but so far only knows how to turn a needle into a line of thread.
