Biography
Her parents were somewhat poor, barely having enough money to cover bills and rent at some times. They would spend most of the money they had leftover from their bills on food, and the remainder putting Frosted Fang through school until around 5th grade where they decided to homeschool her. It was bullying and a distasteful principal that caused them to make this decision, so Frosted grew up learning basic magic, math, science, and history under the tutelage of her parents. She learned how to bake from her mother and how to cook from her dad, and this is actually what her special talent is- baking and cooking.
Life was pretty average until around Hearthswarming at the age of 15. She and her brother were told that her father was ill, and was unlikely to live another year. A little after that, they got in a home care and her mother would sleep on the floor in the room her father was staying in. They moved her father from the master bedroom to her room due to her never sleeping in it, and due to him spending most of his time close to the living room. Frosted moved rooms to the master bedroom, and occasionally slept on the floor of her fathers room.
Shortly after she turned 16, he finally passed. It was a bit hard on her, but her mother took it far worse. As for her brother (the only one of four still living with them), she doesn't know how he responded as he never really expressed much emotion. Frosted continued to be homeschooled as her mother didn't want to be left alone in the house- Frosted's brother worked during the day to support the family.
Everything from that point was bland and average until Frosted heard of Starswirl's School for Gifted Unicorns. She wanted to apply and hoped to get in, but knew she wasn't gifted in magic other than some baking and cooking geared tricks. She thought if she attended a school to learn good magic, that perhaps she could get a good job and help support her family so they wouldn't have to worry about paying rent or bills, and so that they could finally just relax.

Abilities
Basic Magic- They can use basic levitation spells on small objects as most unicorns can.
Temperature Control- She can change the temperature of a small room as a small area around objects and other ponies. This allows her to help others cool down or warm up if needed, and allows her to heat up food, though she's still experimenting with that. Shes hoping to learn to use her magic to cook food, but she isn't yet capable of heating the temperature up high enough or long enough for that yet.
