Biography
Harly is from a fairly wealthy family, and while not the most high class, they are certainly not poor. She has a good bond with her mother, seeing as her real father "disappeared when she was young". She now has a stepfather, and though he critiques her behavior and the things she likes, he's alright enough.
Harleiquin and her family live far out in the woods near Vanhoover. Because of that, she was home-schooled and didn't have much time for other activities, and as her stepfather wanted her to become successful in live, he pushed her to move into the city and become something her mother never could. As they were so isolated within the trees and the forest, she never had to meet any other ponies in her age range, but she instead held a close connection to the creatures within the forest.
Additional Information
-Harleiquin is a pony that can seem bold and hard on the outside, but once you get to know her she will open up her genuine and fun side. She's very strict about respect and trust, and can hold a grudge like nopony else. You called her a blowhard about an hour ago? Oh, you're in danger? Well, that's too bad. You should have thought about what you said. She's rather picky on who she'll give trust to, but if you give respect to her you will gain respect in turn. While she isn't the bravest pony out there, if you offer her a challenge she'll accept so long as it isn't stupid or unreasonable.
-She loves comfy and cozy things, but can also be very picky about bedsheets and other furniture, and can hardly sleep more than 1 hour when not on a comfy enough bed.
-She's optimistic about leaving the nest.
-She is humorous while still retaining an edge of sarcasm. Sometimes she can come off as envious if she was not able to succeed, even if only a little unsuccessful.
-Her hair is never done up or treated.
-She has an unhealthy collection of stuffed animals, blankets, and pillows.
-Her body temperature is low, so don't be surprised if she's stuffed into a thick blanket in the middle of summer.
-To her, tea is LIFE.
-She has a phobia for high pitched whistle sounds, and if she would hear one, she would nearly scream as high pitched as the sound itself while covering her ears.
Abilities
Glow- Parts of her mane and tail as well as her spots can glow in the dark. How bright it is depends on her emotions- she can't control it actively, and she can't see it herself, so really doesn't understand when other ponies point it out.
