Biography
Hewny is taller than average pony height, with front hooves replaced by a magical scarf. They serve exactly the same as legs, though he's unable to interact with water or any liquid in them. His eyes are a mix of orange and red, with fossil-toned messy hair, with only some portions tidied up. He has a white to yellow-orange feather on his hair gifted to him by his deceased mother. When in a state of mania, his pupils become smaller.
Hewny Ney is a young stallion who had always held a fascination with magic from an early age, even though he never possessed any of it. He started his magic research when his aunt, a witch, gifted him a magic scarf to serve in place of his front hooves since he was born without them.
Hewny's childhood home was a tiny village which his family had built generations ago. Sadly, the area had become inflicted by a deadly virus, with many ponies who lived there becoming affected. Hewny was no exception- the virus causing him to be born without front hooves. Many ponies moved out of this village for their own safety, but Hewny's family as well as a few others stayed for the sake of tradition, to live in the place their ancestors had built with their own hooves. As Hewny grew up, he himself moved out with two of his friends to head near Canterlot to study magic with Mr. Jomei, a pony he considered his mentor. Mr. Jomei taught him about magical history, but sadly passed, though not before passing on a magical necklace to Hewny that allowed the stallion to unlock his own magical potential. It isn't the most powerful magic, but he can match well with the average unicorn.
Even though he is out of his home village, he still visits and stays at least a week or a few days to help around. Around the end of his first semester at SSSfGU, his life turned over in different ways: ponies who he loved died, while others he had trusted as friends had betrayed him. By a few months later, his mental state had collapsed. He tries to control himself and act natural as not to scare off anypony, yet sometimes ponies still end up frightened because of his behavior. In his delusional episodes, he tends to mix up his words- unable to explain things in a way that makes sense from a surface level. He isn't violent, but he can become overprotective, going over the line just for the sake of keeping ponies he cares about safe.
He's been wanting to come back to SSSfGU, as thinking about all the damage happening the last semester he wishes to return to keep his friends safe. Given that a few of his friends all have their own issues, he can only imagine the dangers that await them. His only thought is that if he couldn't help the ones he loved back then, couldn't he try one last time?

Knowing a few of his friends back then are mentally unstable or others too thirsty for , he could only imagine the dangers that may occur to them. His only though; if he couldn’t help the ones he loved back then, could he try one last time?
Additional Information
- He’s a very kind pony to most of the ponies he comes across. Although he isn’t the most patient pony, he’s still hardworking and loyal to his housemates and other students in the school. His hard-working personality still stays too even though most of what he ends up doing is not as useful, he still tries to find ways to help.
-He's not particularly physically strong.
Abilities
Motivation- When he isn't stressed, Hewny can be an excellent motivator. He doesn't like seeing ponies down, so he does his best to spread positivity- or at least he tries.
Claircognizance- Rarely, in his episodes, he can be startlingly accurate in finding solutions to problems, on occasion producing predictions and producing hidden knowledge from his subconscious. These thoughts however are not reliable, and often dismissed by Hewny.
Hearing Things- On occasion he will hear sounds that aren't there, but most of the time said voices offer aid to him. Sometimes, he believes he has very good hearing.
Mutlitasking- It would depend of what the task really is, but most of it he’s always free to at any time or just tosses his time whenever he’s busy, to make as much work as they ask him to do.
