Biography
Ink grew rather isolated while she was a foal, with only Ramona to keep her company inside of her family's mansion. Her family line is very rich due to their magical discoveries, with some rumors claiming that they descended from royalty. One would think they'd be nice as they got a lot of attention, but they are the coldest ponies you'd ever know. They don't really talk to anypony else and are always in their mansion if they are not receiving discovery awards.
Her parents, Eclipse Blotch and Blood moon didn't neglect her, they were just too deep into their magical discoveries to spend any time with her outside of their study or library. Ink still looked up to them, and wanted to be just like them- studying more and more each day, studying magic, science, and more. She even tried to emulate their behavior, looking down on other ponies who weren't rich and seeing them only as "low-lives with no value".
Ink barely spoke a words, and others thought she was mute. Her only friends were Ramona, and her books. By her teen years, things did not get better. She was left further unattended by her parents and fell into a deep depression. She started to write poetry in her diary, but got out of that phase when she met the love of her life, Star Child, at the library. They have been dating for 3 years, and have bonded over famous literature, but she had to keep it a secret to her parents as they'd never allow and "distractions" from her studies.
They did come out to Star's parents, but it took them a while to fully accept them since they are against same-sex couples. Now, Ink is beginning to see the world in a more positive light, but she tries to keep that buried deep down so it would not affecft her more serious demeanor. She does have new hobbies, like potion making and learning foreign languages to help understand more ponies.
Additional Information
-She has a cat named Ramona. This cat is able to hover, but otherwise does not have magic. For some time, this was a normal cat until Ink's grandfather tested a spell on it, causing the cat to sprout ram horns and bat wings. Ramona is the type of cat to like to mess with you, and will hide your things.
Abilities
Basic Magic- They can use basic levitation spells on small objects as most unicorns can, and have a standard understanding of potion making and defense.
Linguist- She knows how to translate from a number of languages, and due to her experience in studying language she picks up new languages quickly than others would.
