Biography
Lucielle was born in a small cozy cottage near the outskirts of Canterlot. Her mother was an entrepreneur while her father was a potions maker. Seeing their filly, her parents were surprised when they saw her. Despite having subtle features linked to their dragon-pony heritage, draconic blood was prominent in Lucielle as she bore a long tail and two stubby indigo horns along with a unicorn horn. Sensing potential in Lucielle, her father set out to travel, wanting to ensure a good life for her.
For the most part, her fillyhood was fairly normal, except for the fact that half of her friends were stray cats. While she did have a few close pony friends, she'd always be seen with a cat brushing against her hooves. Whenever she completed her chores early, Lucielle would usually spend time at home practicing basic magic with her mother, with a furry friend occasionally testing her focus as it would try to bat down the levitating object.
One time, she rummaged through her father's belongings and found a round cherry colored crystal. Thinking that it was candy, she ate it, her mom shocked as she couldn't believe that Lucielle was able to munch on the stone with such ease.
At the age of 8, while she was helping her mother move some freshly baked cookies onto a plate, she accidentally charred one of the cookies while holding it with her magic. Thinking that Lucielle was just too excited, her mother brushed it off. As she grows up, her mother takes note of the increasing glow of Lucielle's magic, swearing that she thought the room got a little warmer every time Lucielle would use magic. Over time her magic's form slowly became "frayed", resembling a flame more than the aura-like appearance that magic usually had.
Years pass and now she's a young mare. Despite errands being hectic sometimes, she always found the time to practice her magic with her mother, and she even learned how to make use of her tail. One day during her practice sessions, the two were shocked to see that the quill they were practicing with burned. Her magic usually didn't behave like this, and it was the first time they felt heat radiate at this intensity from it. Recalling a poster she saw the other day, Lucielle tells her mother about a magical school she read about, and asked if she could be enrolled there. In fear of having the cottage burned down by accident, she agreed to send her to Starswirl's School of Gifted Unicorns.
Additional Information
- Lucielle's friends often describe her as a strong mother-like person in her friend group. While she's mostly patient, she's also a skeptic from time to time as she doesn't take anyone's tomfoolery.
Abilities
Basic Magic- They can use basic levitation spells on small objects as most unicorns can. Levitating an object for too long will result in the object being burned as her draconic blood has caused her inner flame to intermingle with her magic.
Light- She can use a lumos like spell.
Prehensile Tail- she can write with and grab small objects by her tail.
