Background
Navy spent his colthood on an old, isolated family farm. He was home-schooled, and never visited the local village- thus becoming quite socially stunted. He was bored with his simple life and wanted to do more than what seemed destined for him, but knowing no other way of living- he simply stayed. It was finally at the age of 16 that Navy's curiosity got the better of him, and he set out to visit the city. Most found him quite the strange, but friendly pony to everypony he met.
Each day he researched the cultures and history of ponies from all walks of life, devouring book after book trying to make up for the lost years. Navy joined Starswirl's to share his passion for pony cultures around the world, and strove to educate students on magical life outside of unicorn magic alone.
After Starswirl's, Navy spent his life writing books and continues to live out his life quite content.
