Biography
Rising was raised in an upperclass lifestyle with parents who expected very much of him, but supported him along the way. Though he struggled with his compulsive nature, he was successful in school. Rising graduated at the top of his class in Elemental Magic, with a minor in History of Magic.
When he left college in the private sector, he worked with his best friend working with artifacts for many years with the benefits of his parents enabling him to stay quite hermetic at times. Rising worked closely with pegasi in Cloudsdale for a number of years to help improve the colors of the sunrise with magic.
After struggling with addiction for many years after the death of his husband, he managed to get clean and do something more productive, teaching.
At Starswirls he made a few friends, taught, and fell in love with Heidi Collins, whom he married before the semester was out.
